Dead Kittens -- A Poem
Dead Kittens, A Poem
It’s bad enough when a mean old cat croaks
But kittens, they’re special, don’t you think folks?
When you see a dead kitten you might start to cry
Demand explanation “Why, God, oh why?”
Oh Nooooooooo!
Like God’s gonna answer -- He cares not a whit
Please pardon my French, but God don’t give a shit
It’s the circle of life, Nature at her most callous
She’s just doing her job, folks, it's not out of malice
Still dead kittens are disturbing, there’s simply no doubt
Their poor little futures cut short and snuffed out
Whether shot or run over, neck broken or drowned
When a kitten gets dead you don't wanna be around!

Mighty Mom writes, "San Fletcher's thrown down the gauntlet with some truly bizarre topics. I chose to write about Dead Kittens. Yes, I am a sick and perverted person with a death wish."
Like puppies and bunnies and Bambi before them
When we think of dead kittens we can't help but mourn them
I hope you've enjoyed this twisted little ditty
Here's wishing long life to both you your kitties!
